Dr. Kolb is the CEO and President of MyFace2FaceMD™. He received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University. He obtained his medical degree with honors from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine from Duke University.
At MyFace2FaceMD™ Dr. Kolb is responsible for the integration of new technologies to facilitate a higher quality, more affordable more convenient healthcare system. Dr. Kolb has never left his engineering background, and he continues to integrate technology with healthcare. He has served as Medical Director, Client Services Medical Officer, Assistant Chief of Staff, and as the Medical Director of Emergency Services. Prior to Dr. Kolb’s work in the medical field, he worked as an aerospace engineer at Pratt & Whitney. He received multiple leadership awards during his tenure. Outside of Medicine Terence lives in North Carolina and is an avid cyclist, enjoys fishing and most other sports. Additionally, time with family is irreplaceable.
Dr. McAbee is board certified in Family Medicine with a fellowship concentration in Emergency Medicine. He completed his undergraduate work at Western Carolina University and went on to graduate from East Tennessee State University School of Medicine. Both Residency and Fellowship training was completed at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. Dr. McAbee was born and raised in a small mountain town in Western North Carolina and has a special interest in pursuing various avenues; especially telemedicine, to reach populations that have historically had difficulty.
Dr. Mackey received his undergraduate and medical degrees from UNC Chapel Hill. He completed a combined Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Residency at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts School of Medicine, followed by a Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at UVA Health Sciences Center. Dr. Mackey is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Pediatric Critical Care, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and is a certified Hospice Medical Director.
Dr. Mackey serves as the Medical Director for the Division of Post-Acute Services, encompassing our Advanced Illness Management, Palliative Care, Hospice, and Facility Based Telemedicine Programs. His interests focus on assisting pediatric and adult patients, and their families, facing complex, chronic, and sometimes, life-limiting illnesses, by making high-quality and compassionate health care more accessible through telemedicine.
Andrea received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. She has been a board certified Nurse Practitioner for the past 13 years. Andrea has worked in the field of gastroenterology, but the majority of her experience has been in the field of emergency medicine. She currently resides in North Carolina. She enjoys watersports, hiking, and horseback riding.
Michael attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. He has been a board certified Nurse Practitioner for the past 13 years. He has an extensive background in the emergency room. He has also worked in the fields of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He resides in North Carolina with his family. He enjoys spending time outdoors, and riding motorcycles.
Allison received her BS in Business Management from St. Josephs College in 2002. She held executive & management positions in finance and operations with a variety of industries, including communication, aerospace, information technology, and health care. Most recently she worked at Duke University Hospital developing the financial plans for the continued growth of the Neurological and Orthopedic service lines. She was also an integral part of a senior leadership team responsible for medical director contracting for the school of medicine as well as the Duke University Hospital for all service lines. Additionally, managing grants, endowments, and equity transfers with the School of Medicine and Duke Hospital.
